
jb-x eBusiness 3.0 - Successful relaunch
The relaunch of the jb-x eBusiness-Suite 3.0 inspires with functionality and usability. The experience of the last few years was used to tailor the product even better to customer groups
Passau, December 1, 2012 - Even with the pilot customer for the first 3.0 update, it was quickly apparent that the development efforts for redesigning the interface, changing the framework and expanding the functionalities would bring the desired added value in usability and performance.
Florian Weiss from Geisel Privathotels, who is responsible for innovative improvements in the company, among other things, was able to recognize many of his suggestions as new software functionalities in the relaunch during the initial presentation. Long login times have been eliminated. The version also supports use on mobile devices. For this purpose, obstructive Java components on the front end were replaced by "mobile"-friendly components.
The reporting supports flexible filter functions throughout, a graphical presentation in columns or pie charts, a grid display and export to Office products for further processing in presentations or management reports.
In addition, further standards have been integrated into the purchasing and controlling portal to enable fully automated analysis and comparison of spending in the connected companies. Further comparisons can be made across companies, putting information from the Federal Statistical Office and industry indices in relation to their own price trends.
